Gotta love Michaels coupons. Got a rustic looking frame, with exposed wood grain. I imagined: living in a cabin on a lake, catching a fish and then framing it to put on the wall lol

Some cross stitch fury the past 2 days, now I can focus on my other work. Did not want to leave this unfinished...

Drawer knobs?

I'm inspired. Saw this image floating around on pinterest and remembered... I always see random drawer knobs on sale at Anthropologie. Next time, definitely going to buy a few.

Got pulled into a design project. Cross stitching has been put on hold, but here's the latest pic update:

Starting to take shape

My strategy is color by color, starting from the center and working my way out. Not sure if this the best strategy, but we'll see. Time will tell...

Cross stitch update

It's a marathon, not a sprint. A nice break from the computer and quite the opposite of my usual work process where I settle in and hammer out all my ideas in one sitting.

I like the technical precision of cross stitching, it suits me...as a graphic designer and my personality! It's like working with pixels in photoshop, but without the luxury of apple+z.

Slowly, but surely...

It's happening!

Learning how to cross stitch was on my "someday" list. I had this urge one day to cross stitch a fish pattern. Found great design kits at Heartland House and finally got them in the mail.
